This tragedy happened because the water was released into the river from the Laarji Hydropower Project.
These students were on a tour to Himachal Pradesh from VNR college Hyderabad, they were clicking pictures on the banks of the river at Thalot when pounds of water was released from the Hypdropower project on Saturday. Around 16 boys and 8 girls are missing in the river
